Privacy Policy for Tatafo FM Mobile App
Tatafo FM Communications Limited (“Tatafo FM,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the Tatafo FM mobile application and website. Tatafo FM is a Nigerian online radio station broadcasting to listeners in Nigeria and around the world.
Information the app collects
The Tatafo FM app does not require an account and is designed for listening to our live radio broadcast. We do not ask listeners to provide their name, address, contacts, photos, precise location, or payment information in the app.
When you use the app, the app or its service providers may process limited technical information needed to deliver the stream and keep the app working. This may include your device type, operating system, app version, network information, approximate region, stream requests, connection errors, and crash or performance diagnostics. The app does not intentionally collect sensitive personal information.
If you contact us, we receive the information you choose to send, such as your email address and message.
How we use information
We use information to provide the live broadcast, maintain security, troubleshoot connection and playback issues, improve reliability, respond to messages, and meet legal obligations. We do not sell personal information and we do not use listening activity to make decisions about your eligibility, credit, employment, or insurance.
Sharing and service providers
We may use service providers for website hosting, audio streaming, app distribution, crash reporting, analytics, email, or security. These providers may process limited information on our behalf and may receive technical data needed to provide their services. We do not authorize service providers to sell your personal information.
The app does not include advertising based on your personal information unless the app is later changed to include it. If our data practices change, we will update this policy before or when the change takes effect.
Data retention and deletion
We keep support messages and related information only as long as reasonably needed to respond, maintain records, resolve disputes, or meet legal requirements. Technical logs and diagnostics are kept for the period used by the relevant service provider and are then deleted or de-identified under that provider’s retention rules.
Because the app does not require an account, there is no in-app account to delete. To request deletion of information you sent to us, email admin@tatafofmglobal.com with the details needed to identify your request. We may need to keep information required by law or needed for security and legal claims.
Your choices
You may stop collection of app-generated information by uninstalling the app. You may also limit permissions through your device settings and contact us about privacy questions or requests. Uninstalling the app does not delete information already retained by service providers; contact us if you need help with a deletion request.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the information we handle. Data sent to our website or services is protected in transit when HTTPS or another secure connection is available. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Children’s privacy
The Tatafo FM app is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.
International users
Our service providers may process information in countries outside Nigeria or your country of residence. Where required, we take reasonable steps to protect information during such processing.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when our app, services, or legal requirements change. The updated policy will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
